Win Systems has entered the New Hampshire gaming and entertainment scene as their latest venture in the gambling industry.
The gaming technology provider announced that its “award-winning” WIGOS casino management system is now available at Ocean Gaming Casino in Hampton, NH.
The current president of the New Hampshire casino is Anthony Fusco. He and his team use the WIGOS System in conjunction with the launch of their historical horse racing (HHR) machines. Chad Dickie, EVP and General Manager USA of Win Systems commented:
“Including Ocean Gaming casino, New Hampshire, as one of our casino partners is a great achievement for us. We are very excited to work with Anthony and his team.”
HHR legislation brings NH into the future with electronic gaming
HHRs allow players to bet on historic footage of horse races that have already happened. Players don’t know the outcome of the race as certain key points of information are kept hidden from them.
The addition of HHRs follows the game’s approval in the New Hampshire state legislature in June 2021. The passing of the HHR legislation makes the machines the very first electronic gaming available in the state. Rick Newman, a gaming lobbyist in New Hampshire said:
“That was what really drove us to ask the Legislature to allow historic horse racing. So that we would have an electronic game to offer.”
In addition to betting on past horse races via HHRs, bettors can also place online horse racing bets in NH. The most popular apps are TVG, BetAmerica and TwinSpires.
Win Systems has seen global success in recent years
The same WIGOS System now managing the HHRs at Ocean Gaming casino is currently operating in over 100,000 machines. Even more impressive is that they’re stationed in more than 20 countries.
Moreover, according to Win Systems, their elite management platforms are known for their “stability” and “reliability.”
Additionally, back in 2016, the company acquired the gaming machine manufacturer, Gold Club. The Gold Club had a firm and founded presence in over 50 countries around the globe.
In light of this, the merger allowed Win Systems to gain traction in Europe, the Americas, and South Africa. As a result, they quickly became a leader in the gaming and entertainment industry.
Win Systems has seen huge growth in North America post-COVID
The gaming tech company’s partnership with the New Hampshire casino is the latest coup in a booming period of success in the North American region, post-pandemic. Furthermore, Win Systems has also agreed to several new operator contracts with casinos in:
- Virginia
- Kentucky
- Oklahoma
- California
“The massive growth we’re experiencing in the US and Canada,” Dickie commented, “these are truly exciting times for Win Systems and our partners.”
About the new gaming room at Ocean Gaming Casino
This past November, Ocean Gaming announced that it will be expanding the gaming room onto the first floor. The grand opening of the new gaming space took place on May 11.
The new space includes more table games and historic horse racing machines or HHR. Bingo is also offered in the new space.
While New Hampshire doesn’t allow commercial casinos, the state does permit charitable gambling. Under state law, 35% of proceeds must go to local charities. Ocean Gaming casino has donated $4.2 million to charities in the last decade.
One of its biggest charities is the American Legion Post 35, which is in Hampton, NH. In the past year, Ocean Gaming has donated almost $50K to the charity. Much of these funds then goes toward local school scholarships.
The casino currently offers a variety of table games in its charitable gaming room on the second floor. Games include:
- Craps
- Roulette
- Blackjack
- Lucky 7 ticket dispensers
