DraftKings Continues To Dominate The NH Sports Betting Market

A second Filotimo Casino & Restaurant location has been announced in Dover. It marks the third New Hampshire sportsbook establishment for DraftKings and NH Lottery.

Just last year, in August of 2020 the first retail presence of a DraftKings Sportsbook in New Hampshire opened at The Brook in Seabrook. Shortly after, in September of the same year, the second retail location launched at the first installment of Filotimo Casino & Restaurant in Manchester.

Excitement about the new Dover sportsbook

The new sister location of Filotimo has multiple betting kiosks and 11 TVs for maximum enjoyment. In addition to sports betting, there are charitable gaming options such as bingo and games of chance. You won’t go hungry either, with top-shelf food and drinks set within a classic sports bar environment.

For more family-friendly activities, there’s a bowling alley and arcade. Fun games and great food – that’s a combination that can’t be beaten. Michael Kibort, the Senior Director of Retail Sportsbook at DraftKings says:

“Our latest collaborative effort with the New Hampshire Lottery and our friends at Filotimo Casino & Restaurant will provide customers with a premier skin-in-the-game viewership experience in the live free or die state.”

More on the NH Lottery

New Hampshire sets an excellent example of how sports betting and the lottery can boost a state’s economy. In the past 57 years, the NH Lottery has contributed over $2.3 billion to education in the state. Charlie McIntyre, Executive Director at New Hampshire Lottery said:

“The new DraftKings Sportsbook at Filotimo in Dover will further cement New Hampshire as the premier sports betting destination in the northeast, and we know this location will continue to make a major positive impact on our ongoing efforts to maximize revenue for our schools here in New Hampshire.”

In that same time, the New Hampshire Lottery has recorded more than $8 billion in lottery sales and other earnings, with over $5.4 billion paid in prizes and other costs of sales. Given the current momentum in sports betting, it’s safe to say those numbers will be on the rise.
